Hair care routine - Aussie & Touch of Silver

Hello everyone.

I hope you are having an amazing Monday.

You will have probably noticed if you follow me on Instagram or read my blog regularly, that I have recently changed the colour of my hair. I have from a brunette become a 3/4 length blond.
I attempted a D.I.Y ombre hair transformation... it didn't go great, but I am getting used to it.

Because of my natural hair colour, my hair has a slight brass looking tone to it which needs toning down. Also bleaching your hair is a damaging process, so good maintenance is required.

Finding the right product to satisfy your needs can be a challenge, I don't only want my colour to stay vibrant, I need my hair to stay as healthy a possible.

These  are a few of the products I have used so far.

Aussie  hair colour products are great and really affordable, they are not just any other shampoo or hair styling product and they smell amazing.

Touch of Silver is for me the best purple shampoo out there.
After using it just once, I was able to notice the difference.
It's a hair colouring corrective shampoo, but don't leave it too long or use it too ofter, you will notice a purple tone developing.

All these products I would definitely re-purchase, they have help me embrace my new hair colour.

New hair !

Hello Everyone,

I hope you have been well. Guess what? It's Friday! Best day of the week.
I hope you are looking forward to the weekend as much as I am.
My mother is visiting from Greece as some of you may know, and I am looking forward to spending some time with her.

While with her this week , I made what I though was a brave decision..I'm starting to regret it now.
I have never been experimental with my hair. As a young girl I would have all my friends go blonde, or have highlights and I would always say, no thanks.
These days, with the new trend being dip dyed hair colours, I have found myself willing to take the risk, mostly because you can leave your darker roots to grow, without spending a fortune every six weeks refreshing your colour.
So to me it's big change. I'm grateful that my hair has been healthy and any changes I do to it now, doesn't affect it all that much.
I'm definitely going to try this colour out and see if it works for me.
My new me is willing to try everything! I have spent 31 years worrying of what I will look like to other people. Never again !!
